My son Matt has been battling Ewing Sarcoma since 2002. In that four years span I found myself lying awake at night frequently wondering how this cancer developed.
Matt has always been healthy and physically fit with nothing more than a minor cold that affected him up until he was diagnosed at age 19.
As there are no hereditary factors and no proven environmental factors to cause this, doctors, researchers, and medical professionals chalk it up to bad luck and random chance.
Fast forward to June 2026 and I am reading about the Ladera Ranch reported Ewing Sarcoma cluster. Parents wanting answers about how their kids have contracted this cancer. Many point to pesticides. This got me to thinking that maybe there is something in the environment triggering this cancer.
After combing through all the comments from all the articles, posts, news items regarding this cluster I ruled out a lot of environmental factors that may apply to my son. Somehow I landed on power lines. But not just power lines...high voltage transmission lines in particular.
It's just me (and some IT help from my oldest son). There are no team of doctors or researchers...no million dollar budgets...no advanced data analytics software...and no AI.
I scour the internet searching social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit. I look at news articles, GoFundMes, obituaries as well. There is no structured method of choosing the cases included in the study. Once I identify a person diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, I get very familiar with their story and their journey.
This is the tricky and time consuming part. Using resources like online whitepages, county property appraiser websites, social media posts, obituaries and news articles I usually can put together a timeline of where the individuals were living, going to school, working, etc... If there's enough information that I can build from and create a case I will. If there is not enough information to build a case on, I will place the information I have gathered on another list to re-review at a later date.
Yes. I believe there may be links to other childhood cancers such as osteosarcoma, brain cancer and leukemia.

Out of respect for privacy I do not share any of the case details in the study. There are no names, no specific addresses, no GPS coordinates and no specific photos that might link anything back to a specific individual. However, I do feel it's necessary to provide some level of information in order to prove these are actual individuals and not random entries I am creating.
No I do not have direct hard evidence. However, science and research has not provided us any hard evidence that this is not a possibility. A future endeavor would be to be purchase a high end Gauss meter and go directly to these sites and measure the EMFs being generated at different times throughout the day.
Although these EMFs cannot be physically seen in the environment their effects can be demonstrated as in the below video.
